I was raised on the belief that the only way to be successful was to get a cushy corporate job, take your benefits, pay into your 401k and live the next 40 years at a desk working the same 9-5 schedule and putting up with smelly microwaved fish.. Ok maybe the fish part wasn’t in the manual but… IYKYK…
I’m the type of gal who’d sit at her desk and day dream. I’d put on an inspirational podcast, get out my notebook and start writing down ideas on how I could leave my job and make money online. I tried the MLM route a few times and I also imagined what it would look like if I just left the country and “figured shit out on the road”... But, I had a family to think about and I obviously needed something more sustainable. So I stayed where I was.
For the next 5 years I sat at that same desk, kicking myself for never taking the leap. I was miserable. And I had so much mom guilt. I hated knowing that daycare saw more of my kids than I did. All the times I had to choose between them and work. Or feeling guilty for taking time off when they were sick and trying to find someone to cover for me.
I spent years angry at myself for not choosing life first.. For not trusting in myself that I’d figure it out.
Until I decided no more..

I was successfully homeschooling 2 children all while working part time hours with a full time income in my business

⏰ 1.5 YEARS IN
I hired my first VA and landed 3 more clients in 1 month and made my first $10,000 month
I had replaced my corporate income and put in my two weeks!
I still remember the day I woke up and made that promise to myself. It was in April of 2020 and I was so over the corporate grind. I knew right then and there that I was determined to work for myself, whatever it took.
Three days later, I signed up for my first group program and started launching my business.
🎉 2 YEARS & 4 MONTHS IN
I doubled my corporate income (approx. $88,000) all while maintaining a 25 hour work week.

Present…
Took a 12 day trip to Italy with my hubby and didn't have to worry about taking PTO.
→
And while those numbers make me happy… The #1 accomplishment was creating a life that worked around my family. A life that allows me to drop off and pick up my kids from school everyday, be with them when they're sick without taking PTO and having the freedom to work from anywhere I want. #ultimateworklifebalance
It's really all I cared about.. Being a present momma who could build a career that complimented my busy mom schedule.
